The idea for Saucy Scents started after a conversation between us, Jody Johnson and Tammy Osgood, about another candle company's $40 candle that didn't burn evenly or smell the way it did in the store. We both looked at each other and said, "We should make our own candles."

Our goal was to start a business that we loved, while staying home for our children. After a lot of burns (literally), sweat, and tears, we have managed to stay best friends while fine tuning our candle skills. As a result of all our efforts, we feel we have developed the best hand poured soy candles on the market. We are extremely proud of our products. Our candles burn clean, evenly, and smell great! We know that once you try one of our jar candles, you will love them too!

We are a Colorado company committed to making high quality soy candles. Our name reflects our personalities. We want to have fun, stay home with our kids, and make some extra money. Saucy Scents is all about being different, standing out among the competition, and producing the best hand poured soy candles. We are the "Natural Candle with Attitude".

We both love candles and between the two of us we have five amazing children. Starting a small business and making candles at home in our kitchens has been a great experience for the whole family.
